Early this morning, just after midnight, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Vice Unit and SWAT served a search warrant at the residence of Shawn and Tonya Bullen at 389 Elizabethton Highway near Bluff City, TN. An ongoing investigation led to the court issuing the search warrant. When the officers arrived, Mr. and Mrs. Bullen were secured and a search of the residence was conducted. Fifty-seven (57) Oxycontin 80mg pills were found along with drug paraphernalia. The street value of the Oxycontin pills is over $4500. During the search, Mr. Bullen advised officers that he sold Oxycontin out of his residence to support his drug habit. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bullen were arrested and transported to the Sullivan County Correctional Facility. Shawn Bullen has also been charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault. Both remain in custody with $100,000 bonds each.
