Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Project Lifesaver
Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Project Lifesaver was founded in 2009. Sheriff Wayne Anderson saw a need not only to save lives for adults with Alzheimer's and Dementia but for children with Autism, Downs Syndrome, and other Developmental Disorders. Project Lifesaver also serves the families by providing an extra level of reassurance and comfort if their love one wanders away.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Project Lifesaver has highly trained pesonnel that will place a personalized transmittter on persons who may wander away from the safety of their home.
This service is free of charge to any citizen of Sullivan County.
Donations are accepted to help fund additional equipment including: transmitters, batteries, and locating antennas.
