The Director of Finance plans, directs, and supervises the daily activities of any and all financial matters related to the Sheriff's Office.
More specific duties of the Director of Finance include:
Annual Budget Preparation
Processes All Purchasing Requisitions
Prepares Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Financial Reports
Preparation and Monitoring of all Cash Transactions
Furnishes Analyses and Reconciliations to Independent Public and Government Auditors
Assists in Personnel Matters including Payroll Preparation and Position Control
Preparation, Application, and Management of Grants
