The Honor Guard was established to honor fallen officers killed in the line of duty and to show compassion and support to the families during their times of grief.
The Honor Guard serves at funerals of officers and/or the immediate family members of officers to publicly show respect for the deceased and the survivors. Each team member possesses high morals and ethical standards along with honest compassion for his fellow officers.
Honor Guard rehearsals are held every other month. One immediate goal is to acquire new rifles for the 21-gun salute.
